Site Impact
Senior Web Developer
I joined Site Impact as a Senior Web Developer and technical lead for Centrifi, a platform-agnostic tool for ad ops campaigns, proposals, and reporting. I built a dynamic form component in React, paired with Apache Avro and an abstract API workflow, that cut the effort needed to integrate with advertising platforms. I worked across development teams to migrate and onboard hundreds of corporate customers onto Centrifi using BigQuery, Kubernetes, and Node.js.
I also helped grow the team behind it from one developer to eight, building the processes and best practices to support that growth: interviewing developers, writing technical documentation, setting code review and code quality standards, building out testing and CI/CD pipelines, and adding telemetry in Datadog. Centrifi itself was eventually sunset, but the tech stack it introduced is now more widely adopted across the company.
Lead Software Engineer
Promoted to Lead Software Engineer, I took the lead on our order management system, architecting a migration to a new DSP platform that opened up new campaign capabilities and revenue streams, and building a bulk order service that brought in significant pipeline growth. I also began leading an initiative pairing generative and symbolic AI to automate manual order workflows and reduce operational overhead. This was also when I started the Technical Roundtable, a recurring series meant to build relationships across teams and give company visibility to engineers.
Staff Engineer
As Staff Engineer, I've continued leading AI initiatives. I organized the company's first internal AI hackathon as part of the Technical Roundtable. In a moment when AI adoption is driven by vibes, my focus has been on establishing scientific and technical discipline in how we use it. I also work directly with clients on API integrations, helping them connect to our platform, and I'm building with AI across the board from internal automation to client-facing interfaces.
