Broward County (West Regional Library)

As a College Intern in the IT department, I oversaw the Computer Center at West Regional Library, assisting patrons and library employees with their technical issues. I taught computer literacy courses ranging from the basics of using a mouse to signing up for email, and developed and taught a class on Adobe Flash.

This was the beginning of my interest in technology and education. It also informed my thoughts on what accessibility really means and the kinds of blockers that people encounter despite technology advancing and being more readily available than ever before.
