I like creating things. For fourteen years professionally, that's meant software engineering.

Bringing people into this field matters to me. I believe in technology as a powerful tool to make a positive difference in the world. My first full-time job was teaching computer literacy classes at the public library. Since then, I've volunteered with Black Girls Code and coordinated a company hackathon (and I still like to participate in them myself). I'm optimistic about the AI boom. I want to help people use AI effectively and responsibly.

When I'm not at work, I play piano, as well as perform with the Master Chorale of South Florida.
